Biography Jeff Curtis is a multi-talented
artist. He is a songwriter,
singer, composer, actor, writer and arranger. He has written music for television, theater,
advertisements, video and radio. Jeff graduated Magna Cum Lade from Berklee College of Music with a BM
in Professional Music. His major
musical focus while there was songwriting, arranging, and music
business. While at Berklee,
Jeff’s song “Games
of the Heart” won the Singer
Songwriter Competition and his song “Tragedy” won
the prestigious Berklee Songwriter
Competition III. Jeff
also received THE BERKLEE
FACULTY ASSOCIATION AWARD while at Berklee. Some of Jeff’s works includes
jingles for “M.R.S.
Chrysler-Plymouth” and “Ludlow Savings Bank,”
music for productions of the plays “Waiting for Godot,” The Lion
in Winter,” By the Skin of Our Teeth,” and “The Shadow
Box,” original music for @6ix Television Graphics and original music
for Court
TV’s CRIME STORIES: BLOODLINES pilot. Jeff has written two full length
musicals. His first, a
collaboration on an adaptation
of “The Little Prince” was performed in Boston in 1986. His Second, “Christopher & Stephen,” received excellent press reviews when it
was produced in Tacoma, Washington in 1995. Some of Jeff’s not-for-profit
work includes writing and producing music for YAI’s “Relationship
Series” videos as well as writing, producing and directing the video,
“Effective Teaching within Community Settings.” Jeff has also worked as a writer for
MEDIAPOWER Television, Inc. where he developed and wrote pilots for the
television shows “Impossible/Possible,” “Asi Asi,”
“Love Struck,” “Ugly Divorces” and “The
Road.” Jeff has worked as the musical
director on “Christopher & Stephen” and a production of
“Godspell,” and has performed internationally in countries such
as England, Canada, and Russia.
Jeff has also written music for solo artists and groups including
Annick Gagnon, Yolanda
